Paul Wrangles

Paul is a qualified primary school teacher who thinks that you can be just as creative with maths as with art and that punctuation lessons needn't be boring. With 9 years experience teaching in England and Wales, he has always enjoyed the challenge of making learning interesting for pupils and coming up with creative ways to hook them into lessons they perhaps would otherwise avoid!

In 2008, Paul began working as a freelance children's author and illustrator - writing, illustrating and (when trusted to multi-task!) both. One of the first things he also did was to design and set up the Sparky Teaching website, which is still a source of inspiration for many teachers today. One of his creative teaching resources, 'We Have a Problem', was initially sold as a 30-page PDF via the website. Thanks to Badger Learning, it soon became something much more substantial and the subsequent four-book set is Paul's first published resource for sparky teachers.

Paul lives in sunny Swansea with his wife and their mischievous Boxer dog.
