Mixed Scheme Phonics: Phase 5

Levelled by Phases rather than book bands, the Mixed Scheme Phonics Phases collections for KS1 provide books from a variety of publishers matched to phonic phases. 

This collection of 35 books aligned to Phase 5 from publishing experts Collins, Oxford, Rising Stars and Ransom includes titles cherry-picked from Big Cat Phonics for Letters and Sounds, Reading Planet Rocket Phonics, Reading Stars Phonics and Oxford Reading Tree's Floppy's Phonics. Phase 5 books equate to book bands Green and Orange. The emphasis is on alternative spellings of phonemes and alternative pronunciations of the same graphemes. To promote good reading practice and encourage extra discussion when reading with an adult at home or in school, the publishers have included useful inside cover notes and extra reading activities.
