Bug Club Independent KS2 Red & Red+

The Bug Club Independent Red and Red+ collection features 38 reading books, at book band level Dark Red and Dark Red+ (Bug Club level Red and Red+), which are covered in protective jackets free of charge. Bug Club Independent is perfect for monitoring KS2 pupils' reading progression. Reading books are skilfully written and levelled, maintaining a bright, varied and attractive 'real' book look and feel that helps to keep children enthusiastic about their independent reading. Books are shorter than many library (non-scheme) books for older pupils, but are ideal for sharing with an adult for assessment and for assuring that perfectly pitched books are read. This wonderful mix includes original fiction, classics such as Treasure Island and King Lear and fascinating non-fiction books.
