Enjoy Guided Reading Year 6 Very Able Readers

Some children in Year 6 are reading extremely well and might be considered as a gifted reader. Finding the right level books to challenge talented readers is difficult and can be concerning for busy teachers who may not be familiar with the content in the book. This collection has been selected for confident and super-confident readers. Super-confident readers are judged as reading 1 or more years above their peers who are reading at the expected level for their age. The teacher book offers guidance (including discussion questions and answers) and assessment opportunities plus follow-up extension activities for independent work.
