Essential Letters and Sounds Flashcards: Year 1

The ELS Grapheme Flashcards support children as they progress through the Essential Letters and Sounds programme. Through mnemonics and rhymes, children are taught letter formation and given examples of the sound within words. These flashcards also support the introduction of new vocabulary through clear illustrations to be supported by teacher explanation. ELS (Essential Letters and Sounds) is the DfE validated SSP programme developed by Knowledge Schools Trust English Hub, and published by Oxford University Press.
