ELS: Essential Blending Books Phases 2–5 Class Pack

Six copies of each of the 23 books to help children blend and practice the GPC’s taught in Phases 2-5 of the Knowledge Trust’s validated phonics programme Essential Letters and Sounds (ELS). These simple but useful Essential Blending Books reinforce phonics learning in specified weeks in the programme for Reception and Year 1.

Children can practice the GPC’s aloud, blend them to make a word and check if they are correct by turning the page to see a graphic representation.  At the end of book there are sentences to practice harder to read and spell words (HRSW’s).

Autumn Term 1
